The Process of Transformation - Part 2

Tim continues his message from last week by teaching from Romans 12. Tim asks us to stop and think about the love of God. We need to look at our own hearts and think about how long it's been since we have allowed ourselves to feel God's concern for us. Has John 3:16 and Ephesians 2:8-9 become old hat to you?

If he loves you enough to send his Son who went through agony on your behalf, there is no greater validation of your importance to him and his love for you. There is amazing stuff that has already been done on your behalf.

We need to agree with God's perspective about ourselves. We need to understand that in the process of transforming to Christ's image, we cannot be conformed to this world. We can begin to think like Jesus Christ!

This process of transformation is based on three things:

1. Committed to learning the truth of Jesus Christ.

2. Committed to fellowship with other believers

3. Praying together with other believers

This process of transformation is what God wants for us. We can't figure out how to do this ourselves so we have to open up the Word of God and ask God to teach us. The photo below is used as a visual aid to show the different stages of transformation.
