Tim teaches from Ephesians 4:1-16 this week.
The word “pastor” in the Greek is also used for a shepherd or herdsman. To illustrate the concept of shepherding, Tim brings two baby lambs into the service.
We each have a role in shepherding. We have to take steps of faith and serve Him and other people. As we all work together, the whole spiritual body begins to work itself out in love.
Reading from Luke 2:7-24, we can lose the connection about how our Savior came to us. He humbled Himself and was obedient even to death on the cross on our behalf. He is our chief Shepherd. All of us are learning to be the flock of God.
