In the World to Be Fruitful

Tim speaks from John 15:1-8 from NKJV and John 15:1-8 from the Message.

We are here because we believe that the historic Jesus was and still is the Son of God. That He came and lived and died and is seated next to God the Father as our Savior.

God wants us to be fruitful. He wants us to profit and be a vibrant individual in Him. Tim isn't talking about cash blessings. He is talking about something deeper and more important. When do we figure out God's plan for us?  We make it way harder than it is. He has created us to have relationship with Him and relationship with others. He wants us to be fruitful and bear fruit. Connectivity with Jesus creates a fruitfulness.

What is this blossoming that takes place? When we are connected with God there is supernatural blossoming that takes place.

Some of us need to be pruned. Pruning is a part of fruitfulness. The pruning process can be ugly sometimes because it's the only way for Him to get our attention.

Jesus wants us to be connected and for our vitality to come from Him. When everything human says we should give up and fail, we don't because we are connected with the vitality of God. He wants us to be fruitful and blossom. A lost world is not looking for a religious person but for someone who is being fruitful and blossoming. The church is supposed to be a beautiful garden. Let's be fruitful and bear much fruit!

Other scripture references:  John 17 and Galatians 5.
