Gifts of Grace

Tim speaks from Matthew 7:7-11 this week.  Tim asks us to think about healthy father/child relationships.  Fathers are naturally proud of their children and desire good things for them.  They also enjoy giving good gifts to their children.  Fathers are to be providers and protectors to their children.  Children naturally receive protection and provision and they love to receive gifts.  Children learn to give by the process of receiving because of parents who sacrifice and give on their behalf.

This analogy extends to God the Father giving us His Son as an amazing gift of grace.  We should give back to Him by showing this grace to others.  There are people all around us who need to experience this life-changing grace.
